Was the rack removed .

check the connection on the sensor clean with contact cleaner .

Steering that read 220 + or - means its disconnected . or fully to the right or left .

With the scan tool does the reading go from plus 220 to - 220 .

Most cases when you have this code the sensor is bad or the connection ,wiring short .
