Hello, my name is***** my experience with this vehicle the issue is usually the ignition switch. I have seen the ignition switch cause a loss of voltage to this system which causes a loss of communication. It can be a problem with the CAN wiring, but that is not nearly as common. They should be able to do a voltage drop test of the ignition switch to verify this.
