for some reason it just died lol, was running but as soon i put in drive it died
JA: What is the model/year of your GM?
Customer: 2008 Gmc yukon Sle 4wd
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: well i check battery im getting 12.5 out of it, and i tried looking at fuse box by #20 and fuelpump relay nothing there?
JA: Does the battery look like it's leaking? And does it have a strong smell -- like sulfur?
Customer: no
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: i think thats pretty much it

Hello and welcome to Justanswer!

There are may possible causes for the engine dying. You may be missing fuel pressure due to a loss of power or ground to it, a failed pump, you may be missing spark due to a number of possible causes, or it's possible that the engine controller isn't awake.

Have you actually verified that the fuel pump is not running?
