Customer: The actual indicator light did I NOT come on. The steering column read service stability

have you checked the power steering or had the vehicle scanned with a code reader

No idea what code reader is. Power steering fluid last checked with oil change in March 2016

the light comes on generally when a sensor fails... Just like a check engine light..the codes need to be read with a computer in order to fault..most sops charge 1 hour to scan for codes
