Hi. Does your Denali have manual climate control or automatic? And is it dual zone temp control?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Ok. What side temp actuator needs replacing?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
passenger. Blows hot air when driver side and rear A/C are cold

Are we still connected?
Expert:  EricFromCT replied 1 year ago.

Yes we are.

Great

To replace the RH temp actuator, you need to remove the center console if equipped. Then you need to remove the entire dashboard. Then the actuator is easy and held on by 3 screws.

No center console. What's involved in removing the dashboard?
Expert:  EricFromCT replied 1 year ago.

Taking the steering column out. Remove all the trim pieces. removing the hvac module, the instrument cluster, then removing 3 bolts and 4 nuts.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Is there a diagram or written instructions? The dashboard is large and complex. Where is the actuator?
Expert:  EricFromCT replied 1 year ago.

There is a lot to the job. Book time is 6 hours to replace the actuator. And honestly that time is for someone who has probably done a few of them. The actuator is on the heater box. It can be seen after the dashboard is removed. There are shop manual instructions on how to remove the dashboard.
