Working on a 2003 gmc savanna 3500, with the fan control

working on a 2003 gmc savanna 3500, with the fan control switch on high, turn on ignition switch, fan runs on high, turn to lower speed, fan stops, abs light comes on , try any speed, nothing works, turn key off, turn back to high, turn ignition switch back on , works on high again. continues to repeat if you move switch to any position .

do you have a multi meter on hand ?

when the blower will stop working when it will not work if you make a temp new GOOD ground wire and connect it to the black wire at the blower module NOT the black one to the blower motor but the OTHER one will the blower work ?
