Hello 1998 gmc jimmy head lights not working DRL are working tail lights turn signal brake lights all working All fuses good under hood and dash I put a new HDLP relay in it mage a pop sound like short in relay and shut fuel pump off engine cranks fine battery new I can jump fuel pump relay the pump comes out and vehicle starts and runs

Hello and sorry for the delay! I do apologies as I cound not find the link to this question. Anyway, we are addressing the no start condition? Have you checked the inputs to the fuel pump relay while cranking? There should be two powers and one ground. One power comes from the ECM B fuse and the other comes from the vehicle control module or computer. Can you tell me which one your missing?
