How can I get a 2002 yukon motor to clear the front

How can I get a 2002 yukon motor to clear the front diff.with the oil pan. It seams to bind on the trans ,shaft when i raise the motor to clear.
I am removing the existing motor.
And have removed the intake and want to leave the tranny and transfer case in.

Hi there. I am Cam.

To pull these out as an assembly, your best bet is to remove the front diff. IT have the 3 bolts on the drivers side and 2 nuts on the drivers side. There is the connector for the actuator and the vent hose. This is the only way I know of. Most times we remove the transmission then remove the engine. TO do it as a unit does mean you need to take some of these things off.
