What is the total estimated cost to get the pinion bearings

Customer Question

What is the total estimated cost to get the pinion bearings replaced on my 2004 GMC Yukon Denali XL?
I'm hearing a "whirring" sound equivalent to the sound of backing up at a fast rate when I accelerate. I hear it (not nearly as bad) even when I'm not accelerating. But even if I just carefully put my foot on the gas without any noticable acceleration (while going any speed at all), it reacts and gets lounder. I thought I had a bad set of tires, but I changed tires, and that was not it.

Hello, I am Randall , possible you may be hearing axle hub bearing noise? is noise def in rear? do you have 4x4? I will gladly send rates on pinion bearings, more common would be hub bearing., Its a whine vs roaring noise even if slight sound?
