Having trouble removing the oem backup cam from my gmc yukon

having trouble removing the oem backup cam from my gmc yukon denali 2007
I have it dismantled down to the last 3 bolts that hold the plastic piece with the cam and license plate lights.
The shaft of trhe nut is spinning with the nut

Try pulling out on the trim panel while loosening the nut. This may hold enough tension on the stud to keep it from turning. This may require a second person to do successfully.

The torque I had to put on the nut striped out the plastic retaining pieces. But I got it off...

Now that it is apart you can separate the nuts from the studs. Clean the studs and plastic trim and use a 2 part epoxy like JB Weld to reattach the studs to the trim for reassembly.
