GMC Yukon XL 1500: , I am Tammy. I have a 2005 Yukon, I drove

Customer Question

Hi, I am Tammy. I have a 2005 Yukon, I drove it to town and used the AC only, I did try and clean the rear window. When I got home and walked around I notice fluid running out where you out gas in and the rear wheel on the drivers side. I felt of it and smelt it. It is not gas, it is odorless and clear. Any idea as to what it is?

Hi Tammy. Does it feel oily or more like water? My concern is this is brake fluid. Does the brake pedal feel the same?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
More like water, it stopped after about 10 minutes and brakes seemed fine the next time I drove it but I just drove it about 2 miles.

Wouldn't brake fluid be reddish color not clear

Brake fluid is clear Tammy but if it feels like water then it likely is and is likely coming from the rear ac unit.
