I have a GMC 2006 Yukon Denali and the car is showing

Customer Question

Hi Pearl, I have a GMC 2006 Yukon Denali and the car is showing "Service Stability" and ABS and T/C lights are on... when I accelerate from 10-15 mph my car makes a weird noise and it won't accelerate
JA: Is it just the ABS light? Or is the brake system warning light on, too?
Customer: Not sure what the brake system light warning looks like
JA: What is the model of your '06 GM?
Customer: Yukon Denali
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: All we did was turn off the stability control
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: I don't think so

When these lights are on it means you have codes stored in the Brake control module. You need to get these code numbers. You will need a scan tool that is able to read abs codes. Any shop would be able to do this. Once you have the exact code numbers we will be able to diagnose the problem as it could be many different things. Having the codes read is the first step.

Please reply to this if you need more help. If you are satisfied with my service, please rate at the top of the screen. Rating does not close out your question. Remember, sometimes it is difficult to completely diagnose your vehicle without being there, but I will try to give you the best answer I can. If I am not giving you 5 star service, please let me know what I missed.
