Hello, I'm Cam. Please include all the details about your issue so I can accurately advise you. I cannot see your vehicle so please be detailed.

There is a solenoid that prevents the key from turning off, it is call the ignition interlock solenoid. This solenoid located behind the ignition cylinder itselfis there to prevent the key from turning off while the transmission is still in drive.
Often the solenoid or the switch at the shifter is what failes causing this.
As a shoft term work around you can pop the lower trim off the steering column and push the button that extends out the bottom of the solenoid in order to release it.
For repair, check the BTSI fuse and make sure it is good.
Then using a test light, check the wires to te solenoid. With a test light, bridge the 2 wires, one with the probe and the other wih the clip and a pin, then see if the light comes on. If so then replace the solenoid, if not then check the wiring at the shifter assembly.
