1997 GMC: the check engine light parts..O2 sensor

Resolved Question:

On my 1997 GMC Sierra the check engine light is on. I have tried two code readers and they will not power up at the OBDII DCL connector. I tried an expensive reader at an auto parts to see if it would work and it showed a bad O2 sensor. My tester is an Innova 3100. I forgot the name of the other one I tried. I have checked all the fuses in the dash box and under the hood. Is there a fuse for the DCL connector that is separate somewhere? I need my tester to work. Thanks

The DLC connector is powered by the AUX PWR fuse. This fuse is located in the fuse panel on the end of the drivers side of the dash. Let me know if you need more assistance.
