  • Remove the left inner fender brace.
  • Remove the air cleaner intake duct.

  • Object Number: 444496  Size: SH

  • Remove the air cleaner housing screws (2).
  • Remove the air cleaner housing cover (1) from the air cleaner housing.
  • Without disconnecting the powertrain control module (PCM) connectors, remove the PCM and the harness from the air cleaner housing.

  • Object Number: 444479  Size: SH

  • Remove the air cleaner housing (1) by pulling the housing from the 2 rubber grommets (2) in the engine compartment.
  • Object Number:(NNN) NNN-NNNN Size: SH

  • Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the secondary air injection (AIR) pump electrical connector.

  • Object Number:(NNN) NNN-NNNN Size: SH

  • Squeeze the tangs together on the AIR pump inlet hose clamp at the pump until they lock, and reposition the clamp.
  • Remove the AIR pump inlet hose from the AIR pump.

  • Object Number:(NNN) NNN-NNNN Size: SH

  • Squeeze the tangs together on the AIR pump outlet hose clamp (3) at the pump until they lock, and reposition the clamp.
  • Raise and suitably support the vehicle.

  • Object Number:(NNN) NNN-NNNN Size: SH

  • Squeeze the AIR pump electrical connector clip (1) and push up in order to remove the clip from the bracket.
  • Remove the AIR pump nuts (2).
  • Lower the vehicle.
  • Remove the AIR pump.
