Customer Question

On June 7 I received an answer from Just Answer in the sense that I was indeed discriminated agaist when in 1964 I was deprived of my German citizenship because I married a foreigner. Which specific German or European laws protect me against such discrimination act?.

Dear Customer

Thank you for replying

This is

Art 3 of the German Constitution , which demands that everybody has to be treated equal, regardless of nationality, religion, sex etc. unless there is a valid reason for not being treated as an equal

The AAG , allgemeines Gleichbehandlungsgesetz , which derives from European guidelines and protects against discrimination in a more specific way, i e discrimination at work and so on

If I have helped I would very much appreciate if I get a positive rating for my first answer

Thank you
