I know you have been in the last stages of a break up which consist of denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance, which are also supported by Mental-Health-Matters. These are the natural ways for your heart to heal. And the way you're feeling now is normal, your heart is preparing to heal. Now, you need to accept these ways and you will heal fast!

• Give yourself some space. You don't need to shut your ex out of your life but it might be helpful to try to avoid the person for a while after the break-up – this can mean online, too. I would suggest that you even relocate to another State or a different location where you will have no memories of him anymore.
  
• Keep busy. You might find yourself with too much free time on your hands, especially on weekends. Plan ahead and do things that you usually enjoy. In fact, do the best games you like or look for something else to keep your mind active and busy.
  
• Take time out for yourself. Do things that you find relaxing, like watching a movie, playing or listening to music, meditating, reading, or playing sport.
  
• Talk to friends and family and others who can support you. It's OK to want some time to yourself but hanging out with supportive people helps get your mind off things, and get a different perspective. In fact, avoid every negativity; anything that feeds your mind with negative thoughts, and embrace positivity - do things that can make you happy again.
  
• Try not to use alcohol and other drugs to deal with the pain. While they might help you feel better at first, the after-effects will leave you feeling much worse.
  
• Give it time. Allow yourself time to cope with the change after a break-up.
  
• Try to get regular sleep and exercise.
