I have tried to reset a new 3 digit combination lock of an old Oyster suitcase following the instructions. Unfortunately now I cannot open the suitcase both with the old (000) or the new combination lock. What can I do to open the suitcase

Unfortunately those type of locks require some time and patience to open. The only way to do that is to start at 000 and try every combination up to 999. Depending on the type of lock you may be able to scroll through quickly by pressing the latch to the open position and holding it there while scrolling through the numbers. If that doesn't work you will need to slow down and change each number 1 at a time while trying to unlatch it. If you are lucky you can do this within a couple hundred numbers instead of all 1000

Hello, I was reviewing my open questions and noticed this one has not been replied too, however I did respond with an answer back on March 18, 2018 and therefore I am wondering if that has resolved the problem you were experiencing.
