I wanted to make money selling brooches ,but I need a strategy

Good afternoon Linda,

Selling jewelry is like any business that needs a strategy such as pricing and getting the word out about your product. Went ahead to offer some strategy ideas for you to look over to get ideas to get your business going in the right direction.

1. Start by pricing and what it takes to get customers to purchase your brooches

2. Although this is about body piercing items, it still offers important ideas such as craft fairs and online sites such as Etsy

3. Good ideas such as online to shipping

I was trying to think of numbers more than anything.....
I can buy poppy brooches for 60 pence each .I currently sell them for £3 each or 2 for £5 .
I wondered if it would be more viable to buy more brooch's ,and sell them for £2 each .essentially selling them faster and easier .I only have a two month window to sell the brooches .
My thought was to buy lots of brooches ,and sell low ,but in vast quantity .or should I just continue with the 2 for £5 .The brooches sell like hot cakes ,but I wondered if I could up the buying frenzy ,so to speak, during the two month window .
My thinking is like how Marks and Spencer used to trade back in the 19th century .stacking things high and selling for a penny .
People always want everything cheap .so should I make them cheaper ?
I sell them at flea markets and car boot sales etc .so I have no real overheads

Thank you for the follow-up to your request. In terms of pricing, the ideas of selling 2 for 5 does work in a sellers head. Selling for one price can work but the buyer will believe that they are getting a deal if you offer 2 for 5. An old trick used by sellers for decades as this works in markets all over. Since you have a short window to sell, consider selling the 2 for 5 as you will sell at a faster pace I believe.
