Hi Michael! As you gave me the right answer about the program that I was looking for (in fact now I'm just needing more information from the program's developer) here I am doing another question.I have been writing songs (specially Pop and Pop Rock songs) and I would like to gain inspiration from different bands and singers from different countries in the world (same genre). What websites can I find lists of popular Pop/Rock music from all over the world?

Good evening,

Glad that my answer was helpful in finding out more about the program and what it can do for you.

As for your question on music that is popular around the world, here are some links that offer a list of what is played elsewhere:

1. Time magazine offers a map of what is popular all over the world:

2. Shazam is a great service for music and has an updated list of the top music played around the world:

3. Top music played from 65 countries around the world:

Take care,

Hi Michael!I'm taking a look at this website that you gave me here: I'm trying to figure out how am I going to have access of these points showing in the map, I mean, how can I know which band/singer they are related.

The map shows the type of music played so while it will not give you exact band names, it will tell what type of music is popular in that part of the world. For specific groups/bands, I would look at the other two links as they offer the names and then you can go online and listen to what music they play.

Oh ok, I see!
So I'm gonna take a look at the other link you gave me and I'll rate you or ask you another thing as soon as I finish :)

That would be great!

Hey Michael! So, I was doing a research at Shazam, and even through I found really interesting, It dosen't give me the "Rock" option, only Country, Dance, Hip Hop, Latin and Pop. Do you recommend any other website wher I can find information about Rock bands/singers too?

Look then at other sites similar to Shazam such as

I hope that the links provided were found helpful in learning a bit more on world music tastes. Also if you could take a second to rate my assistance so that I know my help was found useful today.

Take care,
