My Keurig is about 2 years old. Recently it seemed the coffee wasn't as hot as previously. Then about a week ago, I started seeing a warning to the effect "descale." That's the first time I had heard the word descale. Then, today, it simply stopped working -- it won't brew at all. My question: Is the problem because I didn't descale when I got the signal? Can the machine be repaired? Or would the repair cost indicate I should get a new one?
I love the maker -- but it should last longer than this one has.

Hi and welcome to Just answer.

Descaling is the process of removing limescale build up specially if your water is hard. This procedure usually done after 3 to 6 months depends on your water hardness. Yes, that happen because you did not descale your machine. Now I want you to descale your machine, click this link to watch the descaling instruction CLICK HERE.
