We have the Qult Espression 2046 machine and when the stitch length is increaed above 2.5 mm, there is a rapping sound from the rear at the needle plate, The machine works fine at a stitch length of 2.5mm. What could the problem be???

Hi and welcome to Just answer.

Initially, try to reduce the tension then increase your stitch length. If still, try to clean your feed dog. Use old needle to remove the lint/dust in between your feed dog teeth (edge).

Already tried that and the machine is still not functioning properly.

Can you try to remove the presser foot and look at the mvoment of feed dog? try to increase your stitch length and see if there is still a noise and your feed dog moves freely.
