There are various ways to cook this beautiful fish. I will give you two recipes; one for cooking in a pan and one for baking in the oven.

Baked in foil in the oven. Preheat oven to 350.

1 large rainbow trout

1 each, green & red pepper, chopped
1 onion, sliced

1-2 garlic cloves, sliced

Salt to taste

1/2 tsp. black pepper

1/2 tsp. white pepper

1/4 cup butter, sliced

1/4 c. water

1/2 tsp. paprika

Line a baking dish with foil; add water under foil.

Wash fish.

Season fish with black and white pepper, salt, paprika.

Place fish in foil.

Top with peppers and onion. Top this with butter. Cover with foil.

Bake in a 350°F oven for about 20 to 25 minutes.
