Hi Sarah,

This is Maria. Eventhough, I expressed my feelings to Joshua about his marital situation,that I feel uncomfortable seeing him as a potential love interest, he believes is ok because he was honest with me.
He says he doesn't want to stop talking to me. That it is ok to go out and get a bite to eat together. I asked him what if his wife saw us talking, sitting in his car, or sitting together at a restaurant, he replied that she would just look, and keep going. So I asked him, what happens when he gets home, and he said that she won't ask any questions.
I didn't want to call him a liar to his face, but that is how I feel. I feel he is trying to take advantage, and if I did give in to him, he will be glad to take it.
He calls me everyday, and texts a few times a day. I do respond to his text because these are easier to deal with. Conversations take too long, and I really don't want to talk to him.
Sarah, what should I do? The other guys that have shown interest in me, I could take them or leave them, there is no emotional attachment from me.

Why do I feel like I'm settlling . I feel that there is something better out there for me.

So, you don't see this other person at the end of this month.

Joshua does downplay what is actually going on because to him the relationship is over and there is no chance for a reconnection. This is why he seems so nonchalant about everything.

His marriage is over on an emotional state, I can tell you this because I feel and have never felt him attached to someone.

He is not trying to take advantage of you he is just trying to keep the connection with you going in hopes you will see past his faults.

I still see you finding something in him that connects you on a deep level. I know that this is something that you have strong feelings on because there are things holding you back. Honestly, I feel that there is something here for you but you need to find a way to look past the blockades.

Yes, I do see that there is something here for you. I always have, even though he is married officially the connection is gone.

The divorce will be final by March and much of the holdup is legal issues and paperwork on a separation.
