Auto insurance question - I recently changed insurance companies.

Resolved Question:

Auto insurance question - I recently changed insurance companies. I had a policy before in my name as well as my wifes name. The new policy is in my name only. One of the cars on the policy is paid for but only in the wifes name. She is covered on the policy but the policy is in my name with her listed. Is there a problem with the car only being in her name?

Hello, my name is XXXXX XXXXX I am happy to help with this question.

Your automobile is what is insured and as long as the automobile is properly insured then this will not cause any issues. My guess is that, even though the car is in your wifes name, both of your names are XXXXX XXXXX the insurance policy as the drivers of the vehicle. There is not an issue in this case with the automobile being listed in your wifes name as the vehicle is what is insured and is listing both of you on the policy.

All the best. If you need followup, just hit reply.
