How long is a termite inspection supposed to be valid for?

Resolved Question:

How long is a termite inspection supposed to be valid for? I purchased my home in December 2010 and here, not even a year and a half later, I may have termite issues.

I live in Ohio.

Welcome to Just Answer and thanks for your question. You would need to read your warranty if you are asking about results of treatment. If it was just an inspection, then the inspection means that there were no termites or termite damage found on the property the day it was inspected. There is no warranty implied just with an inspection. The papers you received with the inspection should state that.
