I have a question about cleaning with baking soda and vinegar.

Resolved Question:

I have a question about cleaning with baking soda and vinegar.
This website says to mix baking soda and vinegar for regular cleaning.

However, this website says they neutralize each other.

I've used baking soda and vinegar with great success to clean bathroom drains, but are they a good combination for cleaning around the house?

Yes, they are a good combination and many use them regularly for cleaning.

What they are meaning in the Care2 article is the acidity of the vinegar and the base of the baking soda neutralize each other. You would not want to clean with just baking soda or just vinegar, but when you put the two together they neutralize each other and create a good cleaning agent that can remove some stubborn stains in the bathroom and kitchen that other cleaners might have trouble with.
