TaxTom :

Hello, Can you be more specific on what you need to know? Thanks Tom

Customer: After u file corporate & personal bankruptcy, can u keep 8(a) and joint venture? Can usu it to start another business?
TaxTom :

Hello, Do you have a current contract under 8(a)? Have you completed a contract under 8(a)? Thanks Tom

Customer: Yes and also have jv contract currently performing.
TaxTom :

As long as you meet the contract there should not be a problem. I don't think they will let you change the name of company on the contract but there is no reason you can't still use that name as long as you didn't lose the name in the bankruptcy. Tom
