Resolved Question:

what are the most highly regarding Universities in Chicago? My daughter is a gifted and talented 9th grader that is intersted in equine business & political science at this time. We are planning a trip and would like to meet the Dean of the specific college on campus during the week of March 14th.

Hello, and welcome back to Just Answer.

Three of the most well regarded Universities in Chicago are:

University of Chicago, located in the Hyde Park area, and which is best known for it's schools of medicine and law.

Loyola University, whose main campus is located on the city's north side, also has 'annexes' throughout the area. It is best known for its law and medical schools.

Northwestern University, one of the "Big Ten"; well known for its general academic excellence, business and law schools. It's located in Evanston, north of Chicago.

Other excellent schools include the University of Illinois--Chicago Circle Campus, and DePaul University.

Since your trip is planned for March 14, it might be a good idea to call the Universities you might be interested in visiting and request informational brochures. Of course, you would need to schedule a meeting with the Dean of the school you choose, on that particular date.
