1996 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 pick up I believe it has a Danna 40 or 50 not sure it has very noisy rear axle bearings..need to know if there are any tricks to replacing these bearings and seals
I believe you will have the Corporate 9 1/4 rear axle in this so the diff cover needs to be removed so you can remove the "C" clips holding the axles in place.

Once you slide the axle out, the axle bearing is pressed into the housing so are going to need a slide hammer to get the old one out of the housing.

Apart from that, it is a straightforward job.
