I am a divored catholic with an annulment, I got remarried

Resolved Question:

I am a divored catholic with an annulment, I got remarried in a civil ceremony to a non-catholic. Am I entitled to receive Holy Communion?

If your first marriage was annulled, then it is as if it never happened. That means that, in the eyes of the church, you are free to marry again, and you can still receive the sacrament of Holy Communion. The decision to marry a non-Christian does not make you ineligible.

I hope that helps.
