Sorry for the delay, i was out of town. It's a vast field. It always depend of what interest you. There is application in the medical field (effect of nano particles on health or the use of nano particles as treatment). You can work in the semiconductor industry, there is big future in spintronics. You can work for the chemical and meta-material industries. I think the best is to work for research center like, 3m or HP in area related to building nano material, it give a good base to then know how to subsequently build thing with them (by tunnel effect microscope or by chemical deposition).
