In October, temperatures in St. Lucia usually vary between an average high during the day of about 86 degrees and an average nighttime low of about 79 degrees.

I don't see any regulations prohibiting bringing in frozen foods or canned goods, but check this site and also check with your airline and the government of St. Lucia, before planning to bring these things with you, so you don't encounter any problems at Customs.
