The term 'shark' is actually a very general term that is applied to a multitude of organisms within the Order Selachii. From there, they are divided into five suborders, and then many families and genus. Though the exact number is XXXXX known, most experts believe that there are more than 350 species of shark in existence today.

You you are perfectly right. You hit the nose on the head, their are more that 350 types of shark. Perhaps I did not make my question a difficult one.
