i have an rca projection...

i have an rca projection tv and there is sound but no pic when a friend gave it to us there was a pic but we couldnt set it (no remote) and now i plugged it in and sound but no picture what could be wrong?

Reply to Edward's Post: i think it is a p52-939 model it was given to us by a friend and we do not have a remote but when we first got it and plugged it in it came on and showed the menu and all but said channel 3 and 4 were locked out so we unplugged it and moved it to back room now i thought i would hook up a vcr or dvd to it to see if i could get a picture but i have sound and no picture thank you so much for answering so fast

Any universal remote will allow for most functions to be used with your TV. A replacement remote can be purchased that will allow for all functions to be accessed. The users manual for you TV can be downloaded by clicking here. (This may take a few minutes. It is a large download.) This manual provides the instructions needed to set up your TV.
