I accidentally dried a synthetic wig in a clothes dryer, how do I untagle it
If the drier was hot, untangling it may be impossible as the synthetic fibers may have melted somewhat causing the mess. All you can really do is to take a comb and work from the bottom to the top attempt comb out the wig as much as possible. If this is an expensive wig, I would take it to a local wig shop to see if they can rescue it for you.

Reply to Lori's Post: Here is what happened. I was ask to clean 16 sets of Santa wigs and beards by my son in law.

I stuck them all in together in my dryer for 10 minutes on low, your right I have a tangled mess.

These are professional wigs and beards made out of synthetic fiber.

Can you look into this a little more as I do not have $1,000 to replace them.

I did some additional research and was pointed to this product: they say the silicone spray is wonderful at detangling!
