Customer Question

While slowly simmering some fluid with a lid on, it eventually created a vacuum seal. Now I cannot remove the lid from the pot, even though it has completely cooled. Please help me!

Heat the pot back up. The pressure inside the pan will increase and allow the lid to be removed. By cooling the pan with the lid on you have vacuumed sealed the pot.
