I was wondering if anyone could help me with finding my 2xgreat grandfather and mothers death dates.
XXXXX XXXXX was born 2 Feb 1805 in Toberhead, Castledawson, N.Ireland son of XXXXX XXXXX born 1756 in Maghera, died 2 Jan 1839 Castledawson, buried with his grandson John and his wife Mary Winchester/Campbell.
Johns' wife XXXXX XXXXX was born (I only have the year, would love to know the day and month)1810 in Castledawson, Londonderry, N.Ireland daughter of XXXXX XXXXX born abt 1779 I think Castledawson. Have no mothers' name for her.

They were all buried in Castledawson Presbyterian churchyard but unfortunately no headstone exists for John and Margaret.

Johns' father was George born -.-.1756 would love to know Johns' mothers name, birth and death date if possible.
In the births register records from Castledawson Presbyterian Church manse I feel I have found Johns' brothers Joseph b.1801, (George b.1806 - James b.1809) not totally sure, William b.1810 and Robert b, 1818 there was no record of any girls which I'm sure there were...would you be able to help with any information.

Hello Christine,

I apologize for the automatic emails. I have no control over them.

John Campbell, son of George and Jane Campbell, was born 2 Feb 1805 in Londonderry, Northern Ireland. He married Margaret Anderson, daughter of William and Eliza Anderson, in Londonderry, N. Ireland about 1829. Margaret Anderson was christened on 28 Feb 1810 in Londonderry, N. Ireland and died in Castledawson, Londonderry, N. Ireland about 1890.

Robert Campbell, son of George and Jane Campbell, was born about 1818/19 and married Sarah Beare (born 1830) on 8 Aug 1850.

Joseph Campbell, son of John Campbell and Margaret Anderson, was born in 1839 and married Mary Huston on 25 Sep 1868.

I hope you find this useful. If you would like the sources for this information, I will be happy to type up the transcripts for you.

Thank you,

Hi Shirley,

Thank you so much for your information..

I would love the transcript for John Campbell born 2 Feb 1805 verifying that his mothers name was Jane.

Is there a death date for John.

Would you be able to find out what Janes' last name was and her parents name also when she was born and died.

I have Johns' father George birth year 1756 but no day or month or the year they married. (I have his date of death)

Hello Christine,

I must apologize for my error. Upon further investigation, the Jane Campbell I located was born in 1803 and given that George's first child was born in 1801 the woman could not be his spouse. I also apologize for the delay in sending this information as I have been ill.

Hi Shirley,

You stated in your last message that...

John Campbell, and Robert Campbell were sons of George and Jane Campbell, John born 2 Feb 1805 and Robert born 5 Aug1818 in Londonderry, Northern Ireland.

They had another son that I know of who was Joseph born 1801 not sure of day or month though.

Could you find out Jane's maiden name and did they have other children..

The Jane Campbell you located born in 1803 could that be a child of George and Jane Campbell, born Maghera or Toberhead then called 'Tubberhead'.

Regards Christine
