Hello, you mean the right turn signal cancels when turning the wheel in a certain direction or it blinks, then stops and blinks again when it should be on?

No. As I’m driving in a straight line the left turn Signal will start to flash on its own.Sorry right hahaIt sometimes stays doing that my whole journey and sometimes it doesn’t do it at all
Ford Mechanic: HDGENE, Ford Senior Master/Diesel/Trans replied 1 year ago

Ok, that could be an issue with the lighting control module or the turn signal switch. You would need to see if wiggling the switch makes it act up or stop, or move the tilt steering up and down. If this does not affect it then a dealer level scan tool would need to be used to see if the turn signal switch is sending a signal to the LCM to operate the flasher circuit. If it didnt cancel with turning the wheel I would say there is a broken cancel cam on the switch.

Ok thanks. I will look into those things as my starting point. Cheers

Absolutely thank you
Ford Mechanic: HDGENE, Ford Senior Master/Diesel/Trans replied 1 year ago

it uses the SJB Smart Junction box, which uses Field Emitting Transistors, FET's to control the turn signal. I was thinking it was the LCM, but it is just a different module that controls them verses an old school flasher you could replace.
