Issue has happened four times on this 2013 Escape. The system will not play any sound from the entertainment system or the menus. Audio sources will indicate they are tuned and/or playing, volume knob has no effect, voice control does not emit its tone or voice prompt, menu button press tones do not play. Issue occurs every 2.5 - 4 weeks. It would seem if you leave the vehicle off for varying periods of time with the key out of the ignition, the system will return to normal operation on its own.
