Just arrived in denver co with low power issues once we got off interstate on F550 6.0 diesel powerstroke. Is altitude related?

Mechanic's Assistant: How old is the engine? And when was it last serviced?

Just serviced in salina KS yestersay 4 new injectors passenger side and new waterpump radiator flush and oil change, Prior to that new fuel tank, fan clutch and other maintenance in March in Houston

Mechanic's Assistant: What year is your F550?

2006 Has 367,000 original miles. Low power issues have fouht off and on forever but was running great for last 3000 miles till we got to denver on side streets

They thought fan clutch was causing overheating, Had egr delete put in 3 years ago. Changed tank out in March because dealer said it was starcing for fuel as tank had delaminated. Deleting egr was done three years ago and ran pretty well till lastnyear started having lower power in denver and omaha

They were very old and number 3injector failed after mechanic took for test drive after putting in new water pump in Kansas and radiator flush and oil change

The vehicle ran fine from Kansas to Denver until we exited interstate and arrived to destination on city streets Low power This was issue awhile back and mechanic in houston thought fuel tank clogged so due to delamination we changed it in March drove 3000 miles with no low power issues from turbo till arriving in Denver at higher altitude

these had a problem with the tanks delaminating, and it sends debris into the system, ford reccomends replacing the entire fuel system, including the tank, the injectors, the injector rails and the lines, we have done alot of these for this problem, you cant flush the lines and the rail, if you dont then you will still have debris in it and it will clog up the new injectors and the fuel rail sensors, did they do all of this?

Due to cost we could not afford to replace all injectors. Because we had failure traveling we replaced 4 and planned to repkace driver side 4 when we return to Houston early June
