Hello, my name is ***** ***** I'm here to help get your problem solved.

Ask Your Own Ford Question

This most likely means the fan clutch has failed. If the fan is turning as fast as engine speed even when engine is cold this would mean the fan clutch has failed. This is about a $400 job to have repaired at a shop but it will not cause any problems to keep driving as is. My goal is to provide 5 star service so please let me know if you have any questions, thanks.

what is the cost of the fan ?

The fan clutch itself is around $150-$200 then 2 hours labor to replace. Let me know if you have questions, thanks.
