My 2014 f150 5.0L...

My 2014 f150 5.0L has been dying while driving and I’ve replaced the throttle body, checked fuel pressure, checked fuel pump relays and fuses, and cleaned grounds and I can’t figure it out

Mechanic's Assistant: How many miles are on the vehicle? And when was it last serviced?

149,741 miles and I changed the oil last weekend

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your F150 yourself? What have you tried so far?

Did you actually remove fuse 27 from the underhood fusebox and look closely for any browning on one side?

Sorry I am not set up for phone calls at this time. They had issues with the fuse box terminals for 27, it did not blow fuse but had high resistance causing voltage drop to the fuel pump driver module. You might want to have the fuse relocated Ford has a kit out for it part # EL3Z-14293-A. We do about 10-15 of these per month for this concern.

The funny thing is, I just swapped the new throttle body for the old one and it got me another 15 miles down the highway before dieing out again... what do you make of that?

So it's doing the same thing with either throttle body installed correct?

eventually. It just seems to cause a change in run time longevity when I do it. Otherwise, my truck only starts, idles up and back down until it dies.

low oil pressure comes on, due to the engine dieing and my most recent codes were: B1310-14 Run/Start and P0230-14 Fuel Pump Primary. A local mechanic gave me these codes as well as tested my fuel pump fuel pressure at 58 PSI

I guess just random fuel pressure test to insure my fuel pump is working.

Unfortunately those tests are inconclusive unless the readings are checked at the time of the concern.

Both of those codes are pointing to a possible BCM issue, fuel pump primary relay control and run/start relay control which can also be caused by an ignition switch input concern to the BCM or wiring concern.
