Customer Question
My right rear turn...

My right rear turn signal and brake light are not working. I have the running light working, front turns signals work fine, fuses are good, bulb is good. No power to the turn signal or brake light at the bulb plug in rear. Is there a relay for that urn signal somwhere? FYI 2016, F350 superduty diesel. Thanks!

Mechanic's Assistant: Is the power loss consistent, or does it fluctuate?

Consistent

Mechanic's Assistant: What is the model/year of your Ford?

2016, F350 superduty diesel. Thanks!

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your F350 yourself? What have you tried so far?

Yes, changed the bulbs, tested the wires and fuses.

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

I dont think so

Hello. My name is ***** ***** I will be assisting you today. There is a right turn trailer lamp relay located in the fuse box under the hood. This could possibly be the source of your issue, although, the is likely to be the micro computer that is located inside the body control module, which is actually the inside fuse box. Give me a moment, please, for relay location information. If the relay is sound, then the issue is either a damaged wire or the micro computer. In which case, the body control module will need to be replaced. Just a moment, please.

Unfortunately, this relay is integral to the power distribution center(under hood fuse box). Here, I am attaching the electrical information with the areas of concern highlighted. In order to determine the cause, the vehicle will need to be scanned and the wiring tested.
