I dont know what direction to go here. The fluid was a little dirty but not burnt. Very little material on the magnet and everything is very clean. The tranny has 120,000 miles on it. How do I check the circuit to make sure its not open on the car side? What do you recommend?
Customer reply replied 3 months ago

I have done every test listed with all the results being exactly in spec. So it needs a PCM? I think im going to put in a new solenoid maybe its intermittently having a problem?

Whats the part number I need.
Ford Mechanic: David Craig, Auto Mechanic replied 3 months ago

I found it already. Thanks for your help.
Ford Mechanic: David Craig, Auto Mechanic replied 3 months ago

you trying another solenoid?

Ask Your Own Ford Question
Customer reply replied 3 months ago
I cant find any problems with the circuit. So either it's a solenoid even though its checking ok or its the Pcm. I will put it back together and see what happens.
Ford Mechanic: David Craig, Auto Mechanic replied 3 months ago
