The wires are on right

How could the wires be right on if after you replaced them and the spark plugs the truck does not run well?

Ask Your Own Ford Question

Did you possibly leave a sensor or air intake or something disconnected or not tight?

Is the coil bad

It could be. Would be a weird coincidence but possible. Sometimes if the coil is bad if you remove it you can see a crack underneath it. Using a spark tester on the wires will tell if there is a spark coming out of the coil.
