No open recalls. I would definitely go with a Ford cam sensor.

I’ve priced new injectors so I want to be sure they’re bad before I buy new ones
Ford Mechanic: Scott W., Ford Technician replied 4 months ago

With that many miles I would definitely do a compression test first, there is no sense replacing all the injectors if you have a cylinder low on compression. No less than 350 psi.

Is the engine running rough? Hard starting?

Ask Your Own Ford Question
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
Running really rough .. it smooths out for about 5-10 mins then all of a sudden looses power blows bluish white smoke and almost dies
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
If I shut It off unplug the cps try to crank it then plug it back in it starts quickly and runs good for a couple more mins then falls on its face again
Ford Mechanic: Scott W., Ford Technician replied 4 months ago

Has the computer been tested for trouble codes? It does sound like a possible injector problem, has the fuel pressure been tested?

Ask Your Own Ford Question
Ford Mechanic: Scott W., Ford Technician replied 4 months ago

It could also be the under valve cover fuel injector harness, sometimes these start to fall off and lose connection.
