Customer Question
Second opinion] what happens...

Second opinion] what happens if you accidently put windshield wiper fluid down the oil spout into your engine on a 2007 ford explorer? Perhaps a pint or two.or more. . What if the person drove it afterwards for ten minutes? What must be done and will there be engine damage?

Mechanic's Assistant: Have you checked the fuses? Do you know if there is power to the wiper motor?

Did you understand my question?

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Explorer yourself? What have you tried so far?

Nothing done yet. What possible damage and what must be done???

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Hi im kevin the first step is to drain engine oil from car and replace .also replace the oil filter .hopefully no damage has occurred and you have been lucky and the screen wash has just diluted the oil down .once oil has been replaced you just need to run car and hope for the best .if no strange noises are heard from engine then no further problems are likely
