Are you saying you put a used automatic transmission in a 2006 Ford ranger but now the truck will not move when in gear?

Is the transmission full of fluid?

Are you sure the brakes are not locked up?

When did you get these codes? Any reason you didn't mention them before?

Did you clear the codes after the tranny was installed? Or are these new codes?

I believe C1751 refers to the speed sensor and/or speedometer. VSS output shorted to battery

C1752 also speed sensor. . VSS output shorted to ground.

B1302 and B1304 power windows

You might have a pump in that transmission that is bad. I am sure you got at least a 30 day warranty. You might have to take it back or service what you got.

Did that answer your question? If so, kindly leave me a positive rating, so I get credit. After all, you have already made the deposit.
If you don't, the deposit you made will just sit there and I won't get my share of it.

YOU SURE ITS THE PUMP
Ford Mechanic: Mike S., ASE Certified Technician replied 5 months ago

No, I am not a transmission mechanic but that would explain it.

On some transmissions there is a test plug you can remove and hookup a pressure tester and check it but I would assume a quick check you could crack loose a cooler line, while the engine is idling and if no fluid comes out under pressure than you can just about conclude the pump isn't working.
