It is 9 pm here in Hawaii and I am leaving work and my car will not start. All the lights come on the buttons and bells but it will not start!

Head lights, interior lights, my hatch back opens when I push the button

2013 Ford Escape Titanium

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Escape yourself? What have you tried so far?

I have checked the oil, brake fluid, battery connections

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

I am not a mechanic but not unfamiliar with mechanic work but it is the new msystems that confuse me

Push Button Start mode. Now the dash screen says "Vehicle Transport Mode Active"

To diagnose a no crank/start situation with a push button start. A diagnostic tool is needed. Do you have access to one?

But now I only have the large screen that comes and the daytime lights.

I have no one here that I can attempt to use my jumper cables with.
